W24 LinkLoom privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026. This policy covers the W24 LinkLoom – Internal Link Checker extension for Google Chrome, published by Website in 24 Hours.
In short: LinkLoom does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. Everything it does happens inside your browser.
What LinkLoom does with website content
When you click Analyze this site, LinkLoom fetches pages directly from the website you chose and analyses them on your computer to find orphan pages, link suggestions and link-health issues. The page content is held in memory only while the results tab is open. It is never sent to Website in 24 Hours or to any other server.
Data we collect
None. LinkLoom has no account, no analytics, no tracking and no remote server. We do not receive your browsing history, the sites you analyse or the results.
Data stored on your device
To remember your choices, LinkLoom saves the following in your browser's local storage for the extension, per site you analyse:
- Crawl settings (page limit, suggestions per page, requests at once, JavaScript mode, extra and skipped URLs, robots.txt option)
- Your priority pages list
- Suggestions you marked Done or Dismissed, and anchor text you edited
This data never leaves your device. Removing the extension deletes it.
Permissions and why they are needed

Requests LinkLoom makes
- Pages, sitemaps and robots.txt are requested from the site you chose, without cookies.
- For pages built with JavaScript (Auto or Always mode), LinkLoom opens the page in a background tab of your browser. Those visits work like a normal visit: they can appear in that site's analytics and use your browser's existing cookies and login for that site.
- LinkLoom makes no other network requests.
Children
LinkLoom is a tool for website owners and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If LinkLoom's data handling changes, we will update this page and the date above before the new version is released.
